Canadian Katie Stelmanis plays orchestral and epic Kate Bush style music, mixed with her classically choir trained voice to produce this kind of sorrowful indie genre clash that is quite unlike anything out there at the moment.
Her debut album was realeased after she left Riot Grrl group Galaxy, on Blocks Recording Group, and her debut single that you can download below was released by Loog Records and Vice Records at the end of June this year. So have a listen, but not when you’re miserable. Unless that’s your ‘thing’.
