Quicksand

Of all the La Roux remixes that have come out following her album this year, this has got to be the best. Alex Metric working his usual magic on a remix, adding a different slant and heading the song up to hopefully be played out on the dance and disco scene by steering away from his usual electro feel.

Quicksand is being re-released at the end of the month, with this remix and one from Boy-8 Bit and Mad Decent. Treats eh.

New Fred Falke

As shit as this weather has been in England over the last few weeks of our supposed ‘Summer’, there is one man who can make you feel like you’re literally floating around in the sunshine. Fred Falke’s previous remixes have included hits from Kelis, Hot Chip, U2 and The Filthy Dukes. A couple of recent remixes are currently doing the rounds  and on constant repeat on my stereo…
